No longer the preserve of dusty textbooks and boring lectures, science has been leaving the classroom and taking up shop all over Cambridge this week, as the city's annual Science Festival gets into full swing.
Among the locations hosting hands-on public events this week has been the Cambridge Science Centre, on Jesus Lane, where families have been getting to grips with the principles behind heavy engineering.
