The Cambridge Science Centre initiative started in March 2011. In the two years since our inception we've received tonnes of encouraging feedback and it's easily summarised: "It's high time Cambridge had a public family-oriented place for scientific discovery!!". In February 2013, we proudly opened our centre to the public. This video shows highlights from our opening day and a little of what it's like to visit our Centre.
The Cambridge Science Centre was made possible by a lot of incredibly dedicated and supportive groups and individuals. Our Founding Sponsors enabled us to build the team and fund the creation of the Centre. We would also like to thank Jesus College for providing us with a brilliant site. And, of course, our many partners and supporters who have collaborated with us on various events, helped to promote our activities, provided services, and helped advise us.
And now we are open to the public and schools! Please drop by and tell us what you think. Your feedback and support will help us create a world-leading centre for informal learning in Cambridge.
