SLIDESHOW: An investigation into how much baking soda is needed to make a perfect cupcake was among the experiments done by budding scientists at a school science festival. Pupils at St Faith’s school, in Trumpington Road, Cambridge, showcased their weird and wacky scientific experiments to experts, including Cambridge University PhD student Heba Bevan and Chris Lennard, founder and chief executive of the Cambridge Science Centre, based in Jesus Lane.
