I’ve always been interested in science, and as a kid usually had an experiment on the go in my room, much to my Mum’s despair! I did a degree in biology and have worked as a researcher in Cambridge and Boston. I’ve now got three boys and have spent a lot of time volunteering in their school.
I think it’s really important to get young people enthusiastic about science. It’s great that Cambridge, with so much science going on, now has a place where the public can come and find out about it. The hands-on exhibits and workshops here can teach everyone that science can be fun and doesn’t always have to be difficult!
