Elizabeth Crilly is the Director of STEM Team East, a charity that promotes and enables success in STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) with schools in East Anglia by working with key stakeholders in STEM education and STEM based industry. Elizabeth has a BSc in Pure and Applied Physics, an MSc in Bio-Medical Engineering and Medical Imaging and a PGCE. She has worked in research at Unilever Research, Smith & Nephew Research, Surrey University and University of Cambridge. In 2008 she held an Ogden Trust Teaching Fellowship. As a past Daphne Jackson Fellow she takes particular interest in encouraging girls in science and engineering. Elizabeth organised the first regional Engineering Festival in 2011 and manages the local contracts for national schemes which include STEMNET, Nuffield Research projects, The British Science Association awards, IET and DATA.
