Following my degree in 3-dimensional design, I've worked in commercial, creative industries and charitable organisations and helped develop the business through marketing, communications and also by building excellent commercial relationships and generating income.
Prior to joining Cambridge Science Centre in August 2015, I managed the Creative Front network (www.creativefront.org
from 2011-2015) and worked to increase the profile of the creative industries in the region as well as managing highly successful events. These include the pan-European Brains Eden gaming festival and curating Cambridgeshire’s first-ever design exhibition, Design Icons.
Previous roles include: Regional Manager for Arts & Business (www.artsandbusiness.bitc.org.uk
) and Service Development at London Chamber of Commerce (www.londonchamber.co.uk
), managing a suite of services for 3,000 members and Business Support Manager at Cockpit Arts (www.cockpitarts.com
I am excited to be part of the team at Cambridge Science Centre to raise awareness of the charity's great work and help us spark young people's interest in science with hands-on and playful experiences.
