Cambridge Science Centre

Andy Donnelly

Head of Development

My background is in research, consultancy and science communication. I have a zoological BSC and MSc from the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth, and the University of Stirling, Scotland, respectively. My real passion is building and delivering cross sector partnerships to engage people in science. Over the last ten years this has been as Head of Programs for Earthwatch Australia, Partnership Manager for the Australian Museum, and as an independent consultant. I’ve seen the transformational power of citizen science first hand for schools, corporates and the community all around the world, from the Amazon to the Great Barrier Reef. I feel that the Cambridge Science Centre has the potential to grow and contribute to informal science learning not just locally, but nationally and even globally. I was thrilled to join the Cambridge Science Centre on moving back to the UK in 2013.
