Cambridge Science Centre

Exhibitions Researcher

I’m a PhD student at the University of Cambridge, where I do research in developmental biology: how an animal develops from an egg into a fully formed, fully functional adult. I’ve almost finished my PhD, so I’m currently spending part of my time writing a thesis and part of it as a science communicator.
The great thing about working in scientific research and in science communication is always being able to ask more questions, and regularly finding out things that I didn’t know before! It’s this sense of curiosity that I really want to share with visitors to the science centre, and show people that there is always fun to be had in learning about new things.
