Marketing and Communications Officer
Creativity and education have always been driving forces behind all my career ambitions. I love to be able to communicate with people, showing what opportunities are out there to explore their potential. After getting my degree in Philosophy and English Literature, I was fortunate enough to complete an internship in marketing and events at Creative Front Cambridgeshire. This involved helping to coordinate career fairs and the Brains Eden Gaming Festival 2014; a 48 hour festival open to students all over the world who want a career in the games industry. From there, I was the Marketing Coordinator for the Oxjam Cambridge Takeover 2014 and was able to experience how much untapped talent that Cambridge has to offer whilst also raising money for Oxfam.
I am delighted to be joining the Cambridge Science Centre; a place where knowledge, innovation and creativity come together to get the future generation excited about all things science! Astronomer Carl Sagan once said that ‘imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were. But without it we go nowhere’. I truly believe that this is the embodiment of what the Cambridge Science Centre is all about and I cannot wait to see what lies ahead.
